Charles A. Delgado is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, in Washington D.C., where he studied Medieval and Byzantine History. He specializes in twelfth-century England and is primarily concerned with hagiography, law, archontology, archaeology, and dynastic shifts. He is interested in the usage of literature as a tool for understanding historical events. Currently, Charles is working on a Masters in Educational Administration at Angelo State University where he holds a Carr Academic Scholarship.
Charles is a member of the Royal Historical Society, the Medieval Academy of America, the Association of Ancient Historians, the Texas Council for Social Studies, the American Historical Association, the North American Conference on British Studies and Phi Alpha Theta: The National Honors Society of History. He is the founder and President Emeritus of the Catholic University of America's Medieval Society.
Charles has been at RCCS since 1999, first as a student and since 2012 as a faculty member. During times of leisure Charles enjoys reading, writing, drinking coffee and European travel (preferably all happening at the same time).
